Honoring Dick and Eddie Robinson

Please join us at our annual fundraising concert on Saturday night, February 3, 2024 as we honor Dick and Eddie Robinson for their historic contributions to our congregation and community. They have both been members of Temple Emanuel for much more than 50 years and Dick served as president from 1979-1981. In this historic year, we thank them for all they have done and will continue to do.

Dick and Eddie Robinson are fourth generation Denver natives. They graduated from East High School and attended Colorado State University, graduating with degrees in agriculture. Following military service, Dick in Korea and Eddie in Germany, they then began their careers in the dairy business, working in the milk plant operated by his family. Dick and Eddie started the last Robinson Dairy in 1975 and sold it in 1999. They spent their entire careers working in the dairy business.

Dick and Eddie have committed so much of their lives in service to our community and our congregation.

Dick chaired the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, CSU Board of Governors, Denver Area Council Boy Scouts of America, and Temple Emanuel. He has received many honors, including the Citizen of the West, the Colorado Business Hall of Fame, and an honorary doctorate from Colorado State University. He currently serves on the boards of the Denver Art Museum, HCA HealthONE, Regis University and is a Lifetime Member of the Denver Area Council Boy Scouts of America and Mountain States Employers Council.

Eddie chaired the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, Visit Denver, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, Colorado Dairy Products Association, Denver Zoological Foundation, National Jewish Health, and was President of Cherry Hills Country Club.  He has received many awards, including the Citizen of the West and the Colorado Business Hall of Fame. Eddie currently serves as a Lifetime Board Member of the Colorado Restaurant Association, Denver Zoological Foundation, Visit Denver, and National Jewish Health.
