Mitzvah Day

Choose Your Own Mitzvah Adventure!

We are thrilled to host another Mitzvah Day here at Temple Emanuel! Our Chairs for Mitzvah Day this year are Alison Gillis, Sarah Goldblatt, and Trina Reisch. Our theme is “Choose Your Own Adventure.”

Because Mitzvah Day is on a Sunday during Religious School, we strongly encourage you to go to your Religious School Project because your children have been working so hard learning about specific organizations and building classroom community around these projects.  However, if you have a strong connection to another agency or project, you are welcome to choose that option.

If you don’t have kids in Religious School, we have many options for you too! You can participate here at Temple in our Mitzvah Village for people age 9 and up, Junior Mitzvah Day for children ages 3–8 years old, or head off-site to volunteer in the greater Denver community.

If you have specific questions about off site projects, please contact Sarah Goldblatt at nsgoldblatt@msn.com or specific questions about projects for Jr. Mitzvah Day, please contact Trina Reisch at trinareisch@comcast.net., or for Religious School questions, please contack Rita Dalke at Dalke@emanueldenver.org
