This holiday season, Temple Emanuel is joining Christmas in the Park, an interfaith effort bringing comfort and dignity to people experiencing homelessness and poverty. On Christmas Day, volunteers will create a free outdoor “market” downtown offering warm clothing and other essentials. You can help by donating new items (beanies, balaclavas, 5x7 tarps, L/XL heavy winter gloves, scarves) or contributing funds ahead of time or by volunteering in the park from 10:30am–1:30pm on Christmas Day (lunch follows at Shanghai Kitchen).
