Since June of 2022, we’ve been thinking about how we understand and pursue our commitment to reproductive justice in the US. Our work together will commence on November 1st for a five part, in person series, taught by Samira Mehta, Associate Professor of Women and Gender Studies and Jewish Studies at CU Boulder. Samira will lead us through a history of reproductive rights and reproductive justice and an exploration of how Jewish law thinks about reproductive health. Using those conversations, we will begin to design our own Jewish ethic of reproductive health care, informed by Jewish law and American history – and start to imagine how we move forward to realize that vision in the world.

7:30-8:30, in person only, 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 of November (all 5 Tuesdays) – Sisterhood Lounge

*due to the sensitive and important nature of this conversation, this series will be held in person only. Our hope is that those who register can participate in all five sessions, as they will not be available for remote participation or viewing, though we know that many people travel at this time of year, so full participation is not strictly required.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
