“I was taught to be colorblind, how does that make me racist? Isn’t it enough to be a good person? What is ashkenormativity?” In other words, everything you've wanted to know about anti-racism but were afraid to ask. Sheryl Glubok and Alan Frosh, members of Temple Emanuel's Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee, will walk us through the definitions of many of today’s racial justice concepts, share their own paths to racial justice awakening and what Jewish values inform their work at Temple and beyond.
