MLK Day Event for Tikkun Together: PB&J Packing Party
Sunday, January 11, 12-2pm – Temple Emanuel Kitchen

“I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality and freedom for their spirits.” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s words remind us of our shared responsibility to care for those in need. As we approach MLK Day, join us to fight hunger by preparing bagged lunches for distribution by Metro Caring. Co-sponsored by Repair the World Colorado, who will offer a brief learning on the connection between hunger and Dr. King’s legacy. All ages and abilities welcome.

General accessibility information is available here. While much of this event requires standing at counter-height kitchen tables, some tasks can also be done while sitting. All ages welcome!
