Memorial Plaques and Weekly Kaddish List

Bronze plaques to honor a deceased loved one are available for purchase. The plaques are printed with the name and death date and hung in the memorial chapel of the synagogue. Your loved one’s name will then be entered on our Perpetual Kaddish list. His or Her name will be published in the Temple bulletin prior to the yahrzeit and read each year at our Friday night service following the secular (rather than the Hebrew) date of death. In addition, you and any other people whom you list, will receive a reminder of the yahrzeit each year. This service is provided for $500. $90.00 of this total helps to cover the cost of the plaque itself. The remainder is your generous donation in memory of your loved one.

Should you choose not to purchase a plaque, you are welcome to call and request that your loved one’s name be included on the weekly Kaddish list. You must call each year no sooner than 6 weeks prior to the yahrzeit anniversary.
