The mission of Habitat Interfaith Alliance is to utilize the energy and commitment of our faith communities to build affordable housing for families in need.

Our group of twelve congregations started seventeen years ago. Participating congregations include: Temple Sinai, HEA, Rodef Shalom, Temple Micah, B'nai Havurah, Temple Emanuel, Trinity Methodist, First Universalist, Christ the King, St. Thomas Episcopal, Prairie Unitarian, and St. Andrew United Methodist. Each year we pledge to raise the funds to build a home for a needy family. Our cost is $85,000.

In order to honor our commitment, we hold various fundraisers throughout the year. These include a soup dinner, a used book sale, a Rabbi Black concert, and our annual golf tournament. During the spring and summer our congregations have the opportunity to assist in building our Habitat for Humanity home.
