Women's Inspirational Journey

Temple Emanuel is excited to announce that our long-awaited Women's Inspirational Journey to Israel is finally happening! We're thrilled to have the opportunity to bring women together to travel, explore, learn, pray, sing, eat and build relationships - with each other and with Israel. We hope you will join us!

General Itinerary

Day One – Thursday, December 1 – The Journey Begins – Travel Day!  

Day Two – Friday, December 2 – Beginnings – Introduction to Tel Aviv and Welcoming Shabbat  

Day Three – Saturday, December 3 – Shabbat – Experience the depth of what Tel Aviv has to offer: learning, singing, dancing, praying – and of course, eating.  

Day Four, Sunday, December 4 – Dreams and Realities - Eat, craft, lead and learn our way through the Diversity of Tel Aviv through cultural, gender, ethnic and religious lenses. 

Day Five, Monday, December 5 – The Power of Water – Traveling north and appreciating the beauty of Israel’s natural resources and how they feed us spiritually  

Day Six, Tuesday, December 6 – Nothern Exposure - Exploring the blessings and challenges of the Northern Border of Israel  

Day Seven, Wednesday, December 7 – From Mystics to Dreamers – See how the historical riches of our ancient land continue to inspire and nourish us  

Day Eight, Thursday, December 8 – Making the Desert Bloom – Revel in the resilience of the desert and build relationships with Denver’s sister city, Ramat HaNegev  

Day Nine, Friday, December 9 – Memory and Renewal – Travel through recent history at Yad Vashem and prepare for Shabbat like a modern Israeli  

Day Ten, Saturday, December 10 – Shabbat in Jerusalem – Our trip culminates with the power and spirituality of our own community as we celebrate Shabbat  

Day Eleven, Sunday, December 11 – Until We Meet Again – Travel home!  

FAQ's

Q: Can non-members come on this trip? 
A: Yes! Everyone is welcome. 

Q: Is there scholarship funding available for this trip? 
A: Yes. Stay tuned for more information. 

Q: Do I have to stay the entire time on the trip? 
A: Yes. We are passionate about community building and about safety. As a result, we require that all participants remain on and with the trip for the entire experience.  

While on our trip, we will have occasional free afternoons and evenings where you can see friends and family who live in Israel. 

You are welcome to come to Israel (or the surrounding areas) before the trip or stay on after the trip. Contact J2 for more information about extended travel options. 

Q: Can I extend my stay? 
A: Yes! You are welcome to arrive early or stay on after the trip to experience more travel in the region or time with family and friends. Contact J2 for more information or for suggestions.
