Disability Justice Sukkot Celebration 2025

Ivanhoe St., Denver, CO 80237JFS Jewish Disabilities Advocates, in partnership with Temple Emanuel, Ohr HaOlam, Hebrew Educational Alliance, Repair the World, and Valley Beit Midrash seeks to create a Sukkot celerbation that is open, accessible, and welcoming to all. This inclusive, community-wide event will feature an opportunity to shake the lulav and etrog, traditional Jewish music, an optional service project, and a warm, engaging atmosphere. Accessibility accommodations include wheelchair access, visual aids, ASL interpretation, quiet spaces, shady areas, and a virtual attendance option for those who cannot join in-person.
Ritual foods and a light nosh will be provided. Volunteers are needed to serve food or assist with setup and cleanup.

This event is free, open to the public, and intended to bring together the whole community in support of disability awareness and inclusion. Donations to help cover the cost of food and accommodations are very much appreciated but not expected.
