Temple Emanuel is excited to participate as a community once again in Tikkun Olam, repairing the world. We have designed a small number of Mitzvah Day activities for the congregation’s participation. There are five types of activities you can participate in:

1. On-Site Projects – A limited number of projects designed mostly for adults (check individual projects) to complete at the Temple from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
2. Off-Site Projects – Projects for families (check individual projects for volunteer information) to support organizations out in the community.
3. Kit Projects – Assembling blankets. Material can be picked up at Temple Emanuel on May 15th from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. to complete at home. Finished kit projects must be returned by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27^th.
4. Monetary donations – This year we are raising funds for the Afghan Refugee Resettlement Program as part of our community effort.
5. Kids Sock and Underwear Drive: Collecting socks and underwear from April 1 through Mitzvah Day.
