Pride Shabbat
Friday, June 21, 2024 @ 6:00 PM
JCC Denver

Organized and led by LGBTQIA+ leaders in our community, Pride Shabbat will kick off the weekend with an energetic Kabbalat Shabbat service (Friday night service to welcome Shabbat) that is built around celebrating the joy of Shabbat and the joy of Pride. Everyone is welcome to join for Kabbalat Shabbat, although registration is required.  Shabbat dinner will follow the service for an additional fee. This is offered on a sliding scale with hardship pricing available. Pride Shabbat will be held in the backyard at the Denver JCC.

General accessibility information about the JCC is available on the JCC site. For specific accessibility questions, please contact Jenny at Temple Emanuel at williams@emanueldenver.org or contact Daniel Siegel at the JCC at dsiegel@jccdenver.org or 303.316.6418

Denver PrideFest, organized by The Center on Colfax, is a two-day festival that celebrates our LGBTQIA+ community. Hundreds of thousands of people from all over Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region attend Denver PrideFest each year. The Jewish Community of Denver will have a booth in the family area of PrideFest where we will be making Pride-themed beaded bracelets, schmoozing, and resource sharing!

If you are interested in volunteering at the booth, please sign up using this form or contact Daniel Siegel at dsiegel@jccdenver.org.

Pride March
Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 8:00 to 11:00 AM
Cheeseman Park to Civic Center Park

Temple Emanuel is excited to march with the Jewish Community at Denver's Pride Parade, an opportunity to stand together, celebrate diversity, and show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Let's spread love, acceptance, and equality side by side. Together, we will proudly showcase our Jewish community while embracing and honoring the LGBTQIA+ community's strength and resilience. This is a special opportunity to demonstrate the values of inclusivity and solidarity that lie at the core of our community. There is space for 150 marchers from the whole Denver Jewish community, and spots will be offered on a first come first serve basis. All marchers will receive a t-shirt!
