The Union for Reform Judaism
The URJ is the collection of affiliated Reform Jewish synagogues in North America, of which our synagogue is a member. The URJ provides Temple Emanuel with vital resources such as training for lay leadership, clergy, and professional staff, educational materials to use for both youth and adults, programming for youth and adults, and sustained support of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington, D.C. We are a vital member of this organization, and benefit greatly from its support in all areas of our congregation.
